They believe Radha and Krishna bless the food. After offering, the food is called ‘prasad’. Devotees wait for some time, thinking the deities are enjoying the meal. Then, they share the prasad among themselves.

Arti

Aarti is done at least twice daily, morning and evening. Devotees light a special lamp with five or seven wicks. They sing a prayer song called the aarti. While singing, they move the lamp in circles in front of Radha and Krishna’s idols.
The lamp represents the five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Moving it shows respect to all parts of the deities. Devotees ring a bell and sometimes play other instruments during the aarti.
After the song, people wave their hands over the flame and touch their eyes or forehead. This is to receive blessings from Radha and Krishna.

Tulsi puja

Tulsi Puja for Radha Krishna is a special prayer using the holy tulsi (basil) plant. Devotees believe tulsi is dear to Krishna.
They water and care for a tulsi plant daily. During puja, they circle the plant, offering water and flowers. They light a small lamp and incense. People chant mantras and sing songs about Krishna’s love for tulsi.
Devotees often keep tulsi leaves near Radha Krishna idols. They may make a garland of tulsi leaves for Krishna. Some offer tulsi water to the deities.
This puja is done to please Radha Krishna and get their blessings. It’s believed to bring good luck and remove negative energy.

Jhulan Yatra

Jhulan Yatra is a fun festival for Radha and Krishna. It happens in the rainy season, usually in July or August. People make a pretty swing and decorate it with flowers. They place small idols of Radha and Krishna on the swing.
Devotees push the swing gently and sing happy songs. They believe Radha and Krishna enjoy swinging together. The festival lasts for five days. People offer food, flowers, and prayers to the deities. They dress Radha and Krishna in colorful clothes.
This celebration reminds everyone of the playful love between Radha and Krishna. It brings joy and blessings to all who take part.

Raas Puja

Raas Puja usually happens on full moon nights. Devotees set up a circle to represent the dance area. They place idols of Radha and Krishna in the center. People sing and play music, especially with flutes and drums. Dancers move in a circle, acting out the story of Krishna’s dance.The puja includes offering flowers, sweets, and lights to Radha and Krishna. People wear colorful clothes, often in blue (for Krishna) and yellow (for Radha). They tell stories about the divine couple’s love. The celebration can last all night, filled with joy and devotion.

Janamashtmi Puja

Janmashtami puja celebrates Krishna’s birthday. Devotees fast all day. At night, they dress up Krishna’s idol in new clothes. They sing bhajans (holy songs) and tell stories about Krishna’s birth. At midnight, they do a special aarti (light ceremony) and rock a small cradle with Krishna’s image.
People offer sweets, fruits, and butter to Krishna. They chant “Hare Krishna” and ring bells. Some temples have big festivals with dance and music. Homes and temples are decorated with flowers and lights.
After midnight, everyone breaks their fast by eating prasad (blessed food). Some people stay up all night praying and singing.

Radhashtmi Puja

Radhashtami puja celebrates Radha’s birthday. It usually happens in August or September. Devotees wake up early and bathe. They clean the temple or home altar. The idols of Radha and Krishna are dressed in new, pretty clothes.People offer flowers, sweets, and fruits. They light lamps and incense. Devotees sing bhajans (holy songs) about Radha’s love for Krishna. Some people fast all day.
A special cradle is decorated for baby Radha. Devotees rock the cradle and sing lullabies. They tell stories about Radha’s childhood. At night, there’s a big aarti (light ceremony). People pray for Radha’s blessings and pure love.

Rudrabhishek

Rudrabhishek is a special Hindu worship for Lord Shiva. It means “bathing Rudra,” which is another name for Shiva. People do this to ask for blessings or to remove problems.In this puja, a Shiva Linga (a stone that represents Shiva) is bathed with different things. These include milk, yogurt, honey, ghee (clarified butter), and water. People chant mantras while pouring these. Flowers, incense, and special leaves are offered. Devotees may fast before doing Rudrabhishek. It can be done at home or in temples. Some believe it brings peace, good health, and success.
